Such are paddle type level switches which constantly rotate and are spring loaded and are rotating vanes which are driven in an unorganized manner or blades which keep rotating but at a slower pace.
Working Principle:Microwave pulses which are pretty short in form and which are powered by low level of emitted power, are transmitted by the antenna system to the measured product, reflected by the surface of the product and are absorbed back by the antenna system. Likewise, radar waves transmit at the speed of light. The time from taken from emission to its reception of signals remain proportional to the level of in the vessel. Further, there is a special time lengthening procedure, which ensures reliable and precise measurement of the transmission periods which are extremely short in their design.
Unaffected by temperature and pressure: Microwaves are propagated which remain virtually unaffected by the peaceful temperature and pressure. Hence, such radar sensors become an ideal choice to be put in use under diverse process conditions. There are realised pressures from vacuum up to 160 bar (2320 psi) and temperatures from –40 to upto +400 degree C (that is -40…+752 degree F) and such do not seem to be any problem for radar.
Fluctuations in product organization or even when product changes completely, do not put any influence on the result measurement and such remain independent of product characteristics. As such, any fresh adjustment does not seem to be a necessary step.
Change of Frequency For All Applications:Premium quality AMPLETECH radar sensors remain accessible in 2 different frequency ranges and such can hence be implemented in a range of applications. K-band instruments are managed in a frequency range of over 20 GHz and such enables the use of smaller antennas and compact process fittings respectively. Further, owing to robust signal focussing, the measuring system secures premium accuracy. C-band instruments are defined by low frequencies around 6 GHz and hence in most of the cases, any dirt build up on antenna systems or foam formation on the products, do not affect the measurement at all.
