Such is basically the static devices which do not have any moving parts. A sine-wave is given to liquid by making use of a reference rod or electrode and such sine wave is triggered by low voltage.

 

Sensing rod or the electrode is being constantly scanned by the electronics, so as to locate the presence of any of sine-wave signal on it and as liquid bridges the 2 electrodes, the signal starts to make the appearance onto the sense-electrode.

 

Finally, the switching output is being given by the device, when it analyses the signal received at the sensing electrode.

Working Principle:

RF Admittance is a static level sensor with no moving parts. Its sensing parts are:

• Earth Extension (body)
• Compensation Shield
• Sensing Rod

These parts form three capacitances:

• Shield Earth Capacitance
• Shield Sense Capacitance
• Sense Earth Capacitance

A Sine wave of high frequency is fed into both Sensing Rod as well as Compensation Shield. Voltage at shield is equal to voltage at sense, no effective current flows between sense and shield.

This removes shield-sense capacitance from the measurement. Shield-earth capacitance is ignored by circuit.This removes the effect of material coating on probe.

Bulk is considered as fill-level and “wet” signal is issued
Coating is ignored as insignificant capacitance and “dry” signal is issued.

Working Principle:
LSV electronics simply invoke the peizo-electric crystals which are present inside of the turning fork and which enable fork tines to vibrate at their precise resonance frequency while in the free air.

Further, when tines are free to vibrate, the amplitudes of vibration remain above the threshold.

Likewise, when material flows on and touches the fork tines, this event stops vibration since the disturbance in the resonance takes place.
